Genie Lens is an intellectual property developer specializing in groundbreaking optical lens technologies—and deeply practical, highly accessible ways to facilitate their advancement.

Applications for our technologies fall into two primary categories. Our Imaging technologies involve the manipulation of light for the display of visual images in brand enhancement, security and authentication. Our Non-Imaging technologies manipulate light for concentration and illumination; these can be applied in the generation or optimization of solar energy as well as desalination, steam generation and water purification. We license and sell our technology across a wide array of industries, including consumer goods, electronics, financial services, health care, pharmaceuticals, energy and government.

Regardless of the specific application, our company is about innovation and opportunity. Founded in 2006 with one “big idea,” two people and three patents, Genie Lens was funded entirely by passionate founders and angel investors. Today, our team and offerings continue to grow, with more than thirty issued patents and another dozen pending applications. What began as one optics application specifically for premium brand enhancement has expanded into a world of possibility spanning multiple industries.
